Free Clinic of Southwest Washington Earns Excellence in Governance Award

The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington was recently awarded the Non Profit Network's Excellence in Governance Award. The FCSW earned this award through it's demonstrated excellent practices in planning, financial and programmatic oversight, resource development, visibility, board development and responsiveness to change. 

Due to the current economic crisis and the growing number of unemployed and uninsured individuals, the FCSW is experiencing an increased demand for services. So far this year the medical clinic has provided care for 5,994 patient visits and the dental program has had 1,528 patient visits. The dispensary has filled 6,333 prescriptions - all at no cost to the patient. The FCSW continues to offer quality programs that keep our community healthy and productive.
