Project Access Clark County

by Josie last modified Wednesday, March-05, 2008-04-55

Project Access Clark County coordinates access to donated specialty care for uninsured low-income children and adults in Clark County, Washington.  Project Access Clark County is a program of Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.

If a patient’s medical condition is an emergency and needs to be treated immediately, the patient should go to the nearest Emergency Room.  If the patient’s medical condition is urgent but not an emergency, services are available at Free Clinic of Southwest Washington, SeaMar Community Health Center, or New Heights Clinic.

If a physician feels an uninsured low-income patient needs to see a medical specialist, they may refer the patient to Project Access Clark County.  Physician referrals can come from any practicing physician, including those at SeaMar Community Health Center, New Heights Clinic, and here at Free Clinic of Southwest Washington.

Once a patient has been referred to Project Access Clark County, our Patient Care Coordinator will contact the patient to schedule enrollment appointments.  The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for handling all patient specialty referrals and coordinating patient enrollment procedures.
