Vision
The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington offers vision exams to determine need for glasses, as well as to screen for conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma and cataracts.

To qualify for Free Clinic of Southwest Washington (FCSW) vision services, patients must be low income (200% of the federal poverty level) and be uninsured or carry insurance that does not cover vision.
The FCSW vision exams are offered on Monday evenings, by appointment only.
If you would like a vision appointment, please come to the FCSW to fill out a vision appointment application. You will be contacted when an appointment becomes available. Currently, patients are being given appointments 4-6 weeks from their date of application.
Should a vision provider determine a patient’s need for prescription glasses, we will refer them to a collaborating program to receive free glasses. Patients who only need glasses for reading are encouraged to purchase reading glasses from the Dollar Store or another similar low-cost vendor.
If a vision provider suspects a patient has an eye disease such as cataracts or severe retinopathy, we will try to refer them to receive free specialty care.
All of our vision services are provided by volunteers!
