Scheduled Clinics

A variety of scheduling options supports the sometimes hectic lives many of us live.

Scheduling Options

In order to build capacity, effectiveness & team spirit, we are trying to increase the number of regular volunteers on our schedules.  We know that many of you do not have a fixed schedule at work, but if it's possible, please try to schedule a regular, repeating shift.

Regulars - when the same teams work together each month they build friendships, as well as improve clinic capacity and team effectiveness.  Volunteers may register for a regular shift by calling the volunteer staff at 360.313.1399. 

Frequent Flyers – those who desire more than one shift per month, may fill any gaps in the schedule up to two weeks in advance.  Regulars are valued for bringing stability and consistency to clinics.

Month-to-month - if your schedule is always changing, you may log in to the online scheduling center each month to schedule your shift(s).  This scheduling style is valued for it's flexibility to fill the gaps in the regular schedule.

Substitutes - we occasionally begin new volunteers as a substitute if a regular shift is not available, or does not match with their schedule. Substitutes view the calendar more frequently and fill any gaps up to two weeks in advance, until they obtain a regular shift.  Substitutes are valued for their ability to fill the remaining gaps each week and keep the clinics fully staffed.

  • 7:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. URGENT CARE Clinic


Wednesday

  • 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. --ALSO-- 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. DENTAL CLINICS (if Dentist schedules)
  • 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. URGENT CARE Clinic
  • 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. PEDIATRIC IMMUNIZATION Clinic
  • 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. DENTAL SEALANTS Clinic

Thursday

VicNet - Online Scheduling Center

The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington Volunteer Program uses a web-based database called Volgistics.  This features an excellent online Volunteer Information Center Network (VicNet) that allows you to manage your volunteer information and volunteer schedule from any computer with internet access. 

You can schedule additional volunteer shifts, edit existing shits, complete time sheets, update your contact information, or see who else is on shift with you.   If your email is on file with us, you can access the VIC at any time.
