A number of years ago I became a donor to the Free Clinic Of Southwest Washington (FCSW).  I recognized the good works that the FCSW does for uninsured and underinsured people of all ages.  A couple of years later, I realized that the FCSW needed more than donor $'s.  They sorely needed volunteers to help out.  I decided to donate my time, talent, and treasure that the Good Lord blessed me with, and talked to Marcia Howery, the clinic director at the time.  I found my ten years of volunteering very fulfilling, and enjoyed every minute of my service as a front desk clerk, pharmacy clerk and triage clerk.  The FCSW is a great place to serve the  community and the  many people in need.  I often wonder where some of these people would be in terms of medical help if the  FCSW was not there to serve them.  This situation is magnified with the economic conditions we are in currently, with many more people lacking medical insurance or the money to get medical  help.
